Steakhouse
The Edgewater Restaurant
This is where serious dinner people go at Soaring Eagle—the prime rib is genuinely excellent and cooked to order exactly how you request it, not rushed out from a heat lamp. The filet mignon has a nice crust and tender interior that justifies the price point, and they offer decent wine pairings if you ask the server for recommendations. The atmosphere is upscale but not stuffy; you'll see people in jeans sitting next to folks in business attire, and theres a nice balance of ambient lighting and white tablecloths. The seafood options rotate seasonally, and the lobster tail special on weekends is worth planning ahead for. Most locals recommend coming after 7pm when the initial rush settles down, and reservations are pretty much mandatory on Fridays and Saturdays, otherwise your wait could be 45 minutes to an hour. The service is attentive without hovering, wich is exactly what you want at this price level.
